Here is a breakdown on the Gemini for anyone interested. Like a say, one of a kind board. If I'm shipping it I'll create a light weight crate for it and send via Pilot Air - guesstimate between $100-200 to any US airport.
Overall the board is in pretty good condition. Outside of a small shipping damage spot that was professionally repaired (see below) the board has never had damage to the tough skin, perforations, leaks or real damage.
I'm not selling is as like new. We've had some fun on it here so it has certainly been used - but well looked after.
In general the tough-skin on these is amazing. Not indestructible, but pretty darn tough, so the thing to look for is rail damage, leaks and a well maintained fin box and dagger board. All of which are 100% on this one.
Like all EVA boards, there are some superficial nicks in the surface highlighted by the orange arrows. These are there at carious points around the deck. There are no serious tears or anything that effects the performance or use of the board.
The base section of the board has a bash when it was shipped to me. It had taken a ding in the EVA so we pulled it back and made a small cloth and epoxy repair underneath. Was a classic small puncture, nothing serious, just wanted to make sure.
Here it is again a bit larger. Like i say, nothing to worry about, just want to make sure the buyer sees everything...
The underside of the board is in great shape. One small paint ship but otherwise nothing.
And importantly, the underside of the back of the board is in great shape. The dagger board skin and blade are like new so no worries there.

Starboard Tandem Windsurfer
The Gemini is the World's first and only wide-style tandem board. Introduced in 2007, hundreds of Gemini have been adopted by resorts, schools and clinics around the globe. If you want to get an early stage rider hooked for life, put them on the front of this with a small sail and drive them at 20knts with a big sail on the back.
Its an amazing ride and super cool to watch. I've used it for training and as a challenge with a fellow experieinced rider.
Video of the board in action here.
There are very few of these in the word, your chance to own one at a song.

162 Borad Details - SOLD
Its basically in 100% great shape. Coems with after market Dakine foot straps. Never had water in it. Absolutely no de-lam. Just a really clean board with little real use.
One area to the front of the deck had a slight compression - you can't even see it here BUT I had local board expert Guy Miller do a thin glass layup juts in case. It never gets foot traffic and is not structurally or cosmetically relevant.
The board base is well cared for. Race shine :-)
No nose damage.
The Drake on the right comes with the board BUT i'd recommend taking a serious look at one of the Deb Customs I have - killer fin and a killer board.

Formula Windsurfing Quiver
The ultimate central Texas, formula windsurf racing quiver. None of your wimpy compromise gear here. No bull, the best gear money can buy. If you've ever wondered why no one could catch me on Lake Travis - great gear and time on the water... Now, kiting madness forces sale. Everything must go. No compromise or realistic offer ignored.
The Starboard Formula 162
If you've never sailed an all wood work of art, you don't know what you're missing. Starboard's Formula is the most successful racing board in Windsurfing history. Its not just speed on the water and light weight, its a a more direct feel that you've just got to feel to believe. Don't trust me, ask just about every top rider in 2009 from Antoine Albeau, Kevin Pritchard and Julien Quentel to our own Brian S. If you never buy another formula board, this is it.
The same board new today will cost you nearly 2K. This one is in great condition for $799
Full around board shots are here.
Mauisails TR Race Sails
I moved over to Mauisails in 2007 and was just amazed by the stability and high wind handling of the TR sails. Super tuned and perfectly refined and balanced for easy top speed and the wide range necessary for top results in crowded racing. Beyond that they are pretty much made for gusty variable conditions. Again, why am I pretty much the faster board on lake Travis - gear, gear, gear...
This is pretty much my entire race quiver. Purchased on late 2008 they are all TR4 in good to great condition. I'm prepaired to make a deal on the right mast to go on any sail. Like i say, everything must go so nno serious offer ignored.
I've got a full quiver as follows:
TR4 8.5m - White and Black - $249 OBO
TR4 10m - White and Black - $249 OBO
TR4 11m - White and Black - $249 OBO
TR-5 and TR-5xt presentation from MauiSails.com on Vimeo.
TR5 xt 12m - The Ultimate Light Wind Sail
I could have included this with the other race sails, but its quite simply a stand out. This is a special order light wind planing machine. If you've ever come over the ridge and looked down onto a glassy lake Travis with one sail, alone, ripping it up while everyone else bobs around like corks - it was probably this sail (with a custom F4 fin - see below)
This sail has seriously only been used about 5 times. Its in perfect condition. Full Dimension™ Technora™ scrim laminate that is about half the weight of normal film material, but with better stability. The reduced weight aloft combined with the supple character of this specialized XPly™ makes a sail that is so easy to use, especially with the easy handling and comfortable character of the TR-5 design.
New nearly these are $1400 - Selling for $499
Race Fin Quiver
The fin is the main connection to the water and a critical element of speed and up wind performance. I'm always amazed when I see good riders on crappy fins wondering why they can't point as high. ITS ALL FIN DUDE... The following are the best fins I've found and come together to complement each of the race sails above. These are Deb custom hand finished fins that retail for about $400 each.
Deboichet R16 64 cm Medium +4 - Like new - $175
Deboichet R16 66 cm Medium +4- had a small tip repair - $100
Deboichet R16 68 cm Medium +6 - had a small tip repair - $100
Deboichet R16 70 cm soft-- +8 - brand new - $185
F4 - C-Rad 72-4cm Custom Race Fin
Again here, there's a stand-out. The ultimate light wind fin. This guy was quite literally made to accompany the TR5 12m TR5 xt. Its 100% custom, not race legal by standard formula rules but has lift, early planning and sustained upwind drive like nothing I've ever tried before. It's quite literally in absolute mint condition. Even the fin cover will have you dueling to be on the water. No compromise, no prisoners!
If you're between 150-190lb's and you're looking for a complement to an 11m or 12m sail in 8-17mph quite literally you can't have anything on the planet made better than this. To be honest, if you juts feel it you'll want it. Its a work of art.
Sale at $350 OBO
Booms
I've got two HPL race booms for sale. One brand new still in the bag and the other used but in v-good shape. These are the 100% carbon indestructible ones that even Ted S. couldn't break :-)
New one for $300
Used one, fully rigged for $175
Masts
Rule #1. Never scrimp on the mast. If you have 70% v 100% carbon - does it really matter? Does a couple of ounces here or there made a difference? YOU BET IT DOES. Put a half a pound of weight out on the end of 3m pole and pick it up... Its heavy. Put that on the end of a sail. Same deal. Weight is big but flex is bigger. 100% carbon masts are almast essential for big sails. Not so in the waves, but for big race sails its essential.
I've got a full quiver of Italica masts. These Italian made beauties wear black but they sure are racy. Italica made the high end masts for MauiSails, Sailworks, North and few others. They are simply the best,,, better than all the rest. All are less than a season old and in awesome shape.
100% Carbon Race 460cm - $300
100% Carbon Race 490cm - $300
100% Carbon Race 550cm - $325
100% Carbon Race 580cm - $325
